i'm guessing this doesn't belong in the GARM... Just wanted some advice. I've spoken to a Rockets ticket salesperson and she told me that if I buy half season tickets for the rest of the season, that the seat i buy will be guaranteed to me for playoffs. Also, if i decide to buy any type of 6 game mini plan, i won't be guaranteed that specific seat, but still will be guaranteed playoff tickets. She's also mentioned that they'd be flexible now in allowing me to form some type of a package and customize my miniplan to vary anywhere from 6 to however many home games are left. I bought playoff tickets 2 years ago, and i remember buying up front for the first 2 or 3 rounds of the playoffs and getting a refund for any of the game that aren't played (anyone remember?).. Do you think it'll be safer to just guarantee playoff tickets buy purchasing some type of 6 game mini plan? or should i just wait to buy playoff tickets (if they actually sell themin bulk like two years ago)? I'm not sure how available the tickets will be, the salesperson told me they are virtually impossible to get without a guarantee (which i don't think is true seeing as how i got them two years ago), but who knows... maybe miniplan sales are high this year.. anyone have a clue when tickets might start being sold, or what type of package/plan they'll be sold in?
BUY THE 6 GAME PLAN! You can add any other games to it and you are gauranteed playoff tickets in that price range or you can upgrade *if avalible The first two seasons at Toyota Center I did not have full season tickets so we bought a 6 game pack and added tickets for other games than we upgraded to where I am at now ($60 single $55 full season area) for the playoffs. Trust me it is worth it and you might not get the same seats (for the regular season) but you will get a certain seat for every playoff game ie. sec 115 row 8 seats 9-10.
If you JUST want playoff tix then use ebay. The deals werent that bad 2 years ago against the Mavs. With e-tickets its painless.
if your going to go to games anyway, then just get the mini plan, im sure they'll have the ticket package thing again where u buy the first 2 rounds. I did that during the Lakers Playoffs in 2004, had no issues.
