Shane sings "Can I get a whut-whut" to his wife every night after they play Scrabble and eat Waldorf Salad.

 

His caucasian wife is explaining the lyrics to him.

 

I always thought Shane was more of a death metal type of guy myself.

 

I was leaning toward honky tonk.

 

Jay-Z's music crosses cultures, continents, religions, and intellects.. he brings everyone together.. I'm petitioning to get him down to Afghanistan so we can be done with terrorism once and for all..

 

He probably thinks it is a Neil Diamond concert.

The President of the United States has quoted Jay-Z in a speech. It isn't exactly like Jay-Z is some underground phenomenon that only people from the streets appreciate. He's pretty much as American as apple pie at this point. Or, if you prefer, as American as Shane Battier.

So he listens to rap, I'd be more impressed if he was at a Snoop Dogg concert. That would really be wierd.

Shanes there to lecture Jay-z after the concerts about the merits of not using profanity...and then share a Waldorf salad with him Afterward they'll go for a brisk jog to the park where they'll read the latest by John Updike...and then eat another Waldorf salad.
