i was reading ESPN thorpe's chat and he attributed lowry's and hayes' great improvements as players to an "excellent" rockets player development program. i'm intrigued on that so i hope insiders can reveal a little more on that.

i know we have lawson who personally will work out big men to improve their game, even during the season. i want to know who are the people who work with these guys besides just the coaches.

it is amazing to see a lot of players grow during their tenure with us. obviously a lot of that i would have to say is due to the players' hard work and dedication. but it's not a coincidence that those guys get better under us, esp adelman.

    lowry, brooks, hayes, lee.

wish only tmac was in on this program ;)

If they can get one of Terrence Williams, Jordan Hill or Hasheem Thabeet to reach their full potential I will be ecstatic.

Chuck Hayes hasn't shown any growth at all. He's still 6'6''.

I'd like to know Morey's opinion on this. My thinking is that carefully mentoring guys like Hill and Thabeet with a lot of patience, as opposed to letting them be on their own, could end up being the main factor deciding if they are going to reach their projected potential or are going to be considered busts.

With Chuck and Kyle, they also have a desire to get better.

They both spent all summer working on their shooting. Kyle was in Vegas with Chuck the day after the Rockets officially matched the Cavs' offer sheet.

But the personnel is in place to help the players if they want that help.

Look up Shawn Respert. There have been a few articles/interviews with him in the past.
