Rockets hosting a party tomorrow for season ticket holders, Players and Dancers will be attending, wondering now what type of mood it will have. Oh well Dave and Busters is a cool place.

You have to be 21 to get into to D&B unless you're with an adult which sucks. It's not like I am going to drink. I'm afraid of the things I would say if I was drunk.
Yao ming should get trashed and drunk then he can finally tell Mobley what he really thinks of him and Mr.Mean as well too.
Anyone going to this? I'm a season ticket holder, but I never got any invitation or anything to it. Doesn't really matter, I don't think I'd go anyways . . .
I understand they don't check ID's for age until 10 PM. I believe if you get in early you may be able to drink also. But you are season ticket holder so stay at home and watch The Practice.
So, all 3 season ticket holders will get a party for themselves? The Rockets would be better inclined, PR-speaking, to have this open for Rockets fans in general.

I'm not a season ticket holder. But I'm just saying at any other time. I went last year, and he was and I was both 18 years old, and they wouldn't let us in. That pissed me off.

How was the party? Must have been a real festive atmosphere. I bet big bang was there to liven up the crowd. Woohoo!!! If not to liven up the crowd, at least to dilute the boo's and insults.
It was actually a pretty good crowd -- 1500+ when I left and people were still arriving. And the mood was great. I was as concerned about that as anybody else here on the board, but it wasn't an issue at all. Lots of people came with their kids, the players got to meet fans in a relaxed environment that they felt comfortable in, and some of our best customers felt like they got treated special. Watching Steve play the 8-person racing game for 45 minutes with fans was fun. Boki spent a lot of time on one of the video basketball games. Hawkins is a pop-a-shot god. Glen Rice went undefeated on the game where you try to shoot more free throws than you opponent for 30 seconds. Yao got mobbed wherever he went. Given how down we've all been, it was great to have an event like that. For those who weren't aware of it, the event was Rockets Play Day, and it was open to all season, half-season, and 12-game mini-pack ticket holders. An announcement went out in the mail a few weeks ago. We'll plan on doing it again next year. Hopefully we can combine it with a playoff kickoff party then. Tim

Great party had a chance to play 1 on 1 with Yao Ming in the basket shooting contest My score was 8 Yao's score was 16 Good food but no meat, The fruit was very good! Received a cool keychain and a Energy card with about 50 credits on it. Steve Francis,Yao Ming, Glen Rice, Cat, Posey and Boki and Hawkins attended...Did not see Cato,Griffin, or Taylor. What was funny is some girl walked up to me and asked me if Boki was a player because he was being crowded by cameras. Thanks Rockets for throwing a good party for the season ticket holders. I have one complaint about D&B lots of stupid fools who double park in the parking lot.
