The referee crew from the Rockets-Pacer game are working the Spurs-Wolves game and it's in OT. ------------------
Poor guys. Back-to-backs are tough enough without adding an additional twenty minutes of game time. That's almost an extra half-game. ------------------
They also jobbed the Wolves late in the game. They were down by 2 in the OT with 40 seconds left and the Spurs took a shot that bounced up and hit the shot clock. Instead of stopping play and giving the ball to the Wolves, they let play continue and the ball eventually bounced off the Wolves out of bounds. The Spurs scored and went on to win. ------------------
Not to mention that overtimes are probably much more frustrating to call, since it automatically means that the game is close, and every call is scrutinized that much more. Thery probably catch twice as much hell in that last 5 minutes of overtimes as they did for the previous 48 minutes of play. ------------------ "all your base are belong to us!" "you have no chance to survive make your time!"
