Unfortunately, Shaquille O'Neil has once again sidelined a NBA player. Our very own Chuck Hayes...Leaving an open starting power forward position. With games with Confrence elites coming up this week, namely San Antonio and Chicago...

Where should we go for starting power forward and the subsequent reserves?

How does this affect the other spots in our rotation?

I'm really liking what Luther has been able to do when he plays along side Alston, giving us an extra ball handler/shooter.

    Yao/Deke
    Battier/Howard/Novak
    Tmac/Battier
    Head/Snyder
    Alston/Tmac/Head

It's a small team that can run and shoot.

Sincerely, I don't see what is to be gained from JHo seeing any time against Duncan.

I don't think he'll be any more a benefit defensively or on the boards than the alternatives. AND he will not put any pressure on Duncan on the offensive side of the ball.

Practice will dictate the final word, and I trust JVG, but my admittedly uninformed picks are:

    Shane, Padgett, Novak, JHo

Padgett needs to go on the inactive list so my boy Novak can back up Batt/Howard at 4... Padgett isn't going to be a part of the future of our club, why not let Novak get some playing time... And of course, JVG is thinking others...

    Battier/Novak/Padgett

Mostly Battier and Novak. If Novak needs to be pulled, Padgett.

Agreed. Novak finally gets some time due to Hayes' injury. But I think JVG will limit him to 10 min against San Antonio. Novak better show JVG a reason to stay longer in the next 2 weeks.

NOVAK & V Span are our future! How do Rookies become great NBA players- by being on an NBA team, practicing with them and playing NBA Games with them to get experience.JVG must at sometime find spots for Novak and V Span, they both will be able to contribute and improve our team :p

You have to start Howard because Battier's rebounding number are horrible this year...Howard has rebounded decently and will do a good job with increased minutes...leave Shane @ the 3 and Tmac @ the 2 guard spot.

JHo can't guard Duncan but neither of their players can guard Yao so it will come down to the other players and whomever plays the best will decide the outcome...

I think J Ho has been doing better because of LIMITED minutes. Im gonna be irritated if Juwan starts.

I love how Battier has been playing but he's just not that good a rebounder to be playing the 4.
