Rockets on NBA league pass - only half the game tonight

    Well, it only happens about 2 times a year, when there are more early games than there are channels and it forces the games that start a bit later to broadcast after the first ones are over.

    Tonight is one such occassion, if you are on NBA league pass, and you want to watch the full game, you will need to do it online as the TV will only pick up the game at 8:30....or one hour into it.

    Sigh.

    will the full game be on comcrap hd tonight? i still cant believe they havent updated their programming guide instead of saying "no programming". another question will away games be on comcrap HD channel or their standard definition channel (37)?

    I've never seen this happen with LP whether I was using cable or satellite. I only had cable for one season though a couple of years ago. DirecTV also appears to have bumped up their number of LP stations from 13 to 18 this season. Plus, even when their was 13 stations, there was always at least a couple of games on the west coast that started after the numerous east coast games ended. I'll take your word that you've seen this issue before but I've never seen it. I'm also local so I don't use LP for Rockets games.

    Is this where they are talking about cable carries less League Pass channels than satellite? Because when I look on my TV schedule (DirecTV) it has the whole game there (7:30 start) along with a whole slew of other games (12 total tonight), with a total of 18 channels allocated for league pass.

    I'm on the East coast and my cable box has the game starting at 9:30 EST, i think he's right.

    It is on cable TV.......if you look at the guide to DVR the game you will see what I mean.

    directv is your friend! :) I won't miss any of it because they have like 15 LP channels now.

    It starts at 8:30ET here on channel 759

    If you have the sports package on D-TV then see if the game is on FSH. I live in Dallas and if League Pass is using the Houston broadcast then it is also unlocked on FSH. If they are using OKC broadcast check all the sports networks to see if it is on one of the other channels.

    FSH is on channel 678 with pre-game at 7pm and game at 7:30pm.

    The game is listed curretly on channel 759 NBA9 at 7:30.

    it appears to be an hour late on the Free League Pass Preview on Time Warner in LA :mad:

    At least you don't have dish, which doesn't carry FSN...I have comcast, but I went over to my friends to watch the Dallas game and he has dish...luckily it was on TNT

    Question for directv subscribers...I live in Michigan. If I were to get the sports pack to get all the FSN channels, would I be able to watch the Rockets?
