This afternoon the Lisa Molasky was talking with host of the NBA Beat. There was a guy Rich, who called and asked if they were going to make a package deal sending away Cat and Dream. I heard it and I was going nuts. Why would the Rockets ever let Cat go. The caller said it would be immpossible to have two superstars under "6'2"" in the backcourt and be sucessful.I think he is totally wrong. Did anyone else see that. ------------------ "GiddyUP!!!" Do you suppose that was RocketRich? I didn't see it. I just wanted to say Francis is listed 6'3" and Mobley 6'4" (before anybody else can say it, they inflate heights, yeah, yeah). ------------------ RealGM Rockets Draft Obligations Summary Gafford Art Artisan
i bet the person that said that was thinking of getting eddie jones and some other big man like anthony mason. ------------------ http://www.democrats.com
While I straddle the hate Cuttino/like Cuttino line, I think you have to realistically realize that Jones and Mason would be fair value for Olajuwon and Mobley...IMO. And it makes sense both ways. While certainly Riley doesnt hate Jones, he needs instant offense, which Mobley has, cause he already has enough defense. And the Rockets need defensive help in any way possible--plus Jones is a solid offensive player in his own right. Cap wise probably doesnt work though. I dont have time to look at stuff like that. ------------------ [This message has been edited by JayZ750 (edited January 31, 2001).]
Rudy would never trade Cuttino. The comments were most likely a rumor. ------------------ Cuttino Mobley Online
JuanValdez, thats why I put 6'2" in Quotes meaning Rich was exagerating a little to make his point stronger. ------------------ "GiddyUP!!!" Krammer from Seinfeld
