George Postolos was on 610 this morning to officially announce the Rockets and Comets move to 610am. He said when there is a schedule conflict with the Texans the Rockets will move to KIKK FM. Other notes: Postolos made a quick mention of Clutchcity.net when talking about Rockets websites. He said Steve will "be here forever" and said a deal would get done this summer. The main entrance of the new arena is really taking shape. It will "top out" in August meaning the stadium will reach it's highest point then. 8.1% chance of getting #1 pick in lottery. 9.8% of getting #2 pick. Sheryl Swoopes will get a Celebriduck. It's the latest "bobblehead" type thing going now. Only Iverson, Ho Grant and Sammy Sosa have one out now. They will be given away later during the Comets season. os
I understand the need for provisions, but doubt it will be an issue. I just checked the 2001-2002 schedule, and there were three Sunday Rocket games in November-December. One of those was in Los Angeles, against the Clippers. That means a maximum of two conflicts. More interesting is whether the Horns or Rockets take precedence in case of conflict. Again, not likely to happen more than once in the season.
Those celebriducks are pretty cool. I have a Horace Grant one, and as rubber ducks go it is of pretty high quality....and with his goggles, it doesn't look that bad at all.
