I'm going to switch over to Dish or Derectv. I was wondering if I could get Rocket games on Foxsports Southwest? I live in Bryan\College Station area. And between Dish and Derectv which is better?

I know with DirectV you will not get any unless you can setup your billing address in Houston.. then you'll get all the Houston channels and ROX games on FSN..

I've actually been wondering the same thing - I think you can get FSN with Dish Network.

If anyone knows for sure - let us know!

I found out that we dont get FSSW with the directv package we have, because there is even a more basic package than the basic one IF you get an international channel. (LAME)

But i just found out that i still have analog cable TV coming through the coaxial from my roadrunner internet service. So I split that up and now I can watch it on my PC now.

Better than nothing that's for sure.

So neither Dish or Derectv get Rocket games?

I have DirecTV in Austin and have watched all of the Rockets games via League Pass. Occasionally, you get the Rocket pre-game shows on FSN and then they sign off when the game starts.

Cox will still televise Rockets games in College Station/Bryan right? Or did they wind up changing it?

I have dishnetwork. They have FSSW. The only problem is when they are televising one event, they send the rockets game to one of their alternate channels. My receiver only gets 2/4 alternate channels, so i miss a few games a year when they switch to one of the latter alternate channels. You'll definately get FSSW, but i dont know if you'll get all of the alternates. hope that helps.
