I live in Austin and I went to two barnes and nobles and a Borders Bookstore, and they were all sold out of the Sports Illustrated with Yao Ming on the cover. So I tried one more Barnes and Noble today and got the last copy in the store, no kidding.

But anyways I was wondering if you guys knew if there was any more magazines with Rockets on the cover. I have a copy of Aug 2000, issue of SLAM that has Steve Francis on the cover after he won the ROY. But are there anymore.

I guess if there isnt when they start doing better they will be on some magazines.

    Maybe Griffen will be next?

Steve was on the cover of ESPN the magazine with Destinys Child in their NBA preview issue for the 2000-2001 season. Pretty sweet cover.

    mmm hmm.

how about cutino mobely making a cover? like i said in another thread, he's probably the 2nd best SG in the western conference.

or kalvin cato? he's improving every year. if he makes good on those league leading rebounding or shotblocking promises, he just might make a cover.

bostan nacbar doesn't have the ability or experience right now to make a cover.

hmm, who else? glenn rice? nah...too old.

good job scooping the yoa ming cover up!
