i was just wondering if anyone has 2k9, anyone made any interesting trades for the rockets on association mode?
Rockets are unstoppable on 2k9 online mode. Only team that really gives me fits is Orlando. Match up problems all over. I hate them.
in the association mode, i traded tmac, yao and scola for hedo, bosh and calderon, then traded shane, aaron, and 1st round pick for rudy gay. then calderon and cook for barbosa and wallace. do my line up is this. pg hedo/lowry sg barbosa/budinger sf gay/ariza pf landry/wallace c bosh/hayes
I'm a couple years in the future, but I picked up Amare Stoudemire. Forgot how. I also had Yao Ming, so i was running both of them with Aaron Brooks at Point guard. A little bit later I picked up Steve Nash and would either swap them out or run Nash at PG and Brooks at SG. I had Larry Hughes who I picked up in free agency running at shooting guard and sometimes small forward. At small forward, I had Stephen Jackson, who was a decent scoring threat, and this rookie I drafted. I picked up Shawn Marion halfway through one of the years and he did really well rebounding, so I kept him around. Yeah, I was just screwing around, not playing it realistically. I borrowed it again from my friend. Games pretty fun.
The PC version is great. For only 19.99, you can get some seriously good mods that allows you play as Jordan, Barkley, and other legends who are not in the console versions. Also, there are really good renditions of the rookies such as B. Griffin, Thabeet, Harden and Rubio either released or about to be released. You can request modders put anyone in the game, including yourself (lol). Anyways, IBTL

Traded Yao Ming and a first round draft pick To the Warriors for Maggette Ellis And Stephen Jackson Ellis/Brooks/Lowry Tmac/Battier Maggete/Battier/Landry Artest/Barry Jackson/Dorsey/Hayes Small at times but scoring is unbelievable
i played 4 or 5 seasons...lol..i only have yao and ron left as a rocket. yao winning mvp every year and DOY..yao is unstoppable in the game with fadeaways but he is very boring to use since he simply won't dunk
God, this is so lame. Whenever I see people playing sports games and making trades that could never happen in real life, I can't help but scoff.
i think mine is nelson/telfair iggy/mccants ron/batum al harrington/warrick yao/a fake rookie + two more i don't rmb...havn't played in a while line up is not flashy but win games and everyone is happy. i find the game is kinda hard to keep everyone happy i had jr smith before and he shoots the light out every game. had to trade him coz he won't be happy due to minutes. i probably make a jr smith trade that involves ron ..later when i play again
Whats God mode? Normally I wouldn't bother but you joined like 10 minutes after I did in 99 so I had to ask...
Doncha know? You can DL that stuff.... I already have the new 2k10 roster with the rookies. I can also get Jordan and all those my high school days players. Oh and yes its 360, not PC for meh. One thing I have done with my association mode was test out all the rumored trades for this year. The best one being Amare to Htown and an older one of Andris Biedrins and few others. When ever I am bored I do a forced trade of Bosh coming to us and he and Yao are usually leading the frontcourt in everything. Its too funny I cant even laugh anymore.
How to you stand to play a Rockets team with only the couple minutes per game players on it??? I understand trading off either Yao or Mac but not just them, all the starters??? Damn dude....
I play with no forced trades and its hard to trade t-mac because on the game he has a trade clause that alows him to deny my trades so he denies all our trades haa.
