really? I thought we have given up the Joey project.

Anyway who cares? He wouldn't make any difference after all.

He'll get more playtime with the Raptors than the Rockets. Jordan Hill will take all his minutes. The Raptors don't have any defensive power fowards. He'll definitely get his minutes, when they need extra rebounding.

He's a mole sent to tell Bosh how great Houston is to play. Maybe he could sabotage that 1.5 game lead they have over Chicago and knock Toronto off the 8th seed.
    Obviously DM= Daryl Machiavelli

The Raptors are bad. Their lead man has been complaining since the All Star Break that their team lacks focus and doesn't have the sense of urgency needed to take them to the next level.

Colangelo responds by signing a guy who was kicked off a team because of his clownish behavior.

The Toronto Raptors will lose Chris Bosh this offseason. Book it.

Wait... isn't he unable to play in the actual playoffs because he signed too late?

I don't blame him. He didn't have a chance here.

At best, he's a poor man's Ben Wallace.

    Most likely not though.

Agreed. Dorsey chose a good situation. Dorsey and Evans will be at PF, next year. Bosh will be gone.

If Dorsey and Evans are the Barney's PF combo next season, that will indicate they've completely given up. Neither guy is rotation worthy, much less starter material.

I'm glad he declined to return.

Joey isn't a bad player, he's a rebound specialist... he'll be useful for other teams.

Dorsey made the right choice, he has already experienced getting no PT on Houston so why try it again?

He was somewhat unlucky, because of planter fasciitis. However,he didn't put in a consistent effort. Two decent games in a year is certainly not enough. I wish him well.

If he isn't a bad player, why did he get cut by a sorry team? Why hasn't he done zip in two years in the NBA?

Maybe Joey is a bad player after all.
