He may be short, but he has been making big 3's down the stretch, all season. His height isn't affecting his shooting.
Rafer and Luther need to hold hands and get struck by lightning. Maybe they'll rub off on each other, and Rafer can become a lights out shooter and Luther can develop some non-highschool handles.
Meaning we need to hit on a draft pick with talent that was somewhat cluless his rookie year and got major minutes and became a starter? Nah...
Luther is our best 4th quarter 3pt shooter. I also like Shane there. However, we still need to get another clutch shooter for next season.
I think more importantly we need a 2nd creator on the floor with Tmac. I would like to see a penetrating PG, and Tmac with Yao and a couple other good shooters. 5 players that are an offensive threat......that is what the elite teams seem to have. DD
Yao will never get an open 3. His man and a helper always come out to help when he's on the perimeter. Mainly cause Yao is out setting picks and the defender has to follow or get burned on the switch.
I still rememeber that 3, so crisp and clean ...Although its a good thing he didn't develop that, otherwise we'd have a 7'6 Mehmet Okur/Brad Milled hybrid on our team.
This guy is pretty good at making big open 3pt shots. He could be as good as this guy in his prime, eventually, who's shooting has dipped the last 2 seasons. Luther compares favorably to this guy, 3 years ago.
