I still believe the Rockets should trade for a PF. I don't like the 4s they have right now. MoTay, Griffin, and TMo these guys are not aggressive enough. Trade for either one of these PF Brian Grant, Elton Brand, or Tyrone Hill. Give up two of the three PF we currently have for either one mentioned.:)

TMo's not really a pf, and I really want to keep him for the 3 spot, but yeah Griffin and MoT have been a bit disappointing so far. Don't give up on Griffin yet, but MoT can go... but we'll never get Brand.

The problem is, no one would take MoT and T-Mo has no real value in trade.

Griffin needs to be mroe agressive. He needs to get mean, like Yao was a few weeks ago, and like Gasol always is. We need to keep him motivated, and force him to stay inside.

I think Eddie Griffin will eventually be the man for the Rockets at the 4. Also, I don't think that he'll be a max player when the times comes to resign him. At most, he'll probably be worth about as much as R. Lewis got this past offseason. I would rather wait for Eddie to develop and get him at an affordable price than go ahead and give a player like Brand a max contract.

Handing out max contracts right and left worries me. Especially after what happened in Orlando with Grant Hill. I just don't want the Rockets to get in a bind. I like the idea of having room to maneuver.

With that being said, the Rockets need some serious help at PF right now! I would go for an affordable "banger" who won't complain about not getting enough touches. Some that I had in mind are Kurt Thomas, PJ Brown, and Tyronne Hill. Hill would be my first choice, mainly because he is the most likely. The only problem is that it seems like he has some chronic injuries, so I'm not sure if that would really be a good idea.

The other option is to increase Cato's minutes and let him play along side Yao more often.

I have one burning question (and it is eating me up bad)...........

Why hasn't ANYONE (Rudy, CD, Larry Smith, anybody) knocked Eddie grifin out of his stupidity? I mean he still takes those ridiculous 3 point shots (a phreaking PF?) as if he is a 2 or 3. Maybe he thinks he is a 3 but is he that dumb? Jeeez. Earlier in the season I REFUSED to give up on him but this "3" thing is ALREADY beyond ridiculous. Haba! Who da hell does he think he is? Kevin Garnet? Rasheed Wallace? Arvydas? I will not blame the entire thing on the "poor" boy - Rudy has to take some here. Is it just me that think so? I doubt it. Eddie basketball growth Chart resembles Cynergy field right about now.

DCKid, I completely agree, but I'd perfer to see PJ Brown over Trone Hill.

I would prefer it too, I just think it's less likely.

Well, let's see....Mo played, what? 13 minutes? A fair-to-middling PF named Marcus Fizer prison-raped Eddie Griffin all game; and Eddie's shot looks like a baseball pitch.

I don't know if Eddie can get the attention he needs on the Rox. Rudy has traditionally grabbed older players in the draft. Eddie will be good, but not great, and with developing a stud center and already having Ball Hog and Street Ball at the 1 and 2 spots....

Yeah, can we cook up a trade for Elton Brand, please?

Sort of like Phil Neikro meets JR Richards.
