rockets may face grizz in the first round of playoff

    How would we face Memphis in the 1st round?

    We are the 7th seed and they are the 6th, the only way we play them is if we both moved up 2 spots, leaving the Lakers and the Mavs to the 6th and 7th, which isn't going to happen.

    or

    The Grizzlies have to move up all the way to the 2nd seed, which isn't going to happen either.

    How did come up with we might play them in the 1st round?

    It's possible but not likely.

    Grizz are only 2 games out of the #3 spot and will have to remain HOT for the rest of the season to claim it.

    Rox can move up a spot to #6 if the Lakers or Mavs stumble down the stretch.

    Grizz would by far be the best matchup for the Rox because the Grizz do not have a true superstar goto player like all the other top teams.

    Memphis might give us the toughest matchup out of all teams. They'll run all night long against us and we have no one that can guard Pau Gasol.

    JVG will run a new strategy specifically designed for the likes of Grizzlies. Rockets will beat them at their own game.

    Yea the Rockets may face the grizz in the playoffs if the nba totally gets rid of its current playoff system.

    Memphis is for real- a very tough team to face. We cannot guard a 7' shooter like Gasol or Nowitski- no one else can either. They will run Yao to death and our coach will want to play their game instead of making them play a 1/2 court deliberate slow game.

    Casol is horrible.It is difficult to deal with him.Memphis plays well this season.Houston is playing better and better.

    Pau Gasol is more of a post player. His shot is good out to 15 foot at most.

    This thread needs to be locked for its sheer stupidity. Sure the Grizz could wind up with the #2 spot, if you know the TWolves charter jet crashes, and uh the planets are aligned for that sort of thing. We dont need stupid threads like these on Clutch, someone lock this thing
