Why is the management allowing these old uniforms to be sold when they will change them in a few month, some people that don't know the uniforms will change will buy the old uni's just to know that they are old news.
i know i am a rookie too.... and have not much to say here, but please no more annoying uniform-threads.... here“s the link
when the team gets their new jerseys from reebok, they will try to get them out there as soon as possible. they arent god. 1, they have to get their new logo approved. 2 after everything is approved then they will be able to start to produce them. 3. when they are produced they are then shipped and distributed. nothing can happen out of order, and as of right now, were working on number 1. and what do you think...theyre just going to keep all the old jerseys sitting on shelves? when i say they, i mean the retailers. the NBA has no control over which jerseys are sold after they are sent out. and even if they did have control its not the rockets call. the revenues brought in by those jerseys is split between the 29 teams.
Then don't buy the old ones dumb ass. They are not holding you at gun point and making you spend your money. How dare a business try to make money off of people!
Wow, you hit the new guy with cursing AND the dreaded roll eyes! How is his mistake worse than your littering this forum with foul language?
What?? are you trying to police R0ckets03's 1st amendment rights.... nice of you to grace us with your presence outside your hangout debates..but you know, you are pretty borish in the GARM. Go back to where you belong or talk bball for once. umkay, Say_Jack.
Remember how ugly those red and mustard uniforms used to look like? Now they charge over $100 bucks for them and call them throwbacks. Fashion always come back around and thats why people are still buying those older uni's. In 10 or 15 yrs, someone popular will put on a 2000 rockets pinstripe jersey and once again people will think they're so cool. I was one of the 1st who thoughts the Rockets uniforms were ugly during the chamionship run, but now everyone wants one. Just like the old ugly Astro's jersey's, they suck then and suck now, but since rappers are wearing them, everyone thinks they're fly.
I guess you don't understand our Constitution, or you would realize that the 1st amendment doesn't apply here. I read this forum regularly, and I see my opinions already expressed almost always, so why should I post redundant thoughts? It seems to me that is a waste of bandwidth. On the other hand, outside of Trader Jorge, I don't see a more necessary poster than me in D and D. So, I will continue to read here and post there, and criticize you and your buddies when you invariably are rude to people based on their post count. Ok Jack?
Tim actually explained this, but I'll explain it again. The money from all uniform sales is divided evenly among ALL teams. The Rockets do not have a choice to sell or not sell old merchandise. That decision is COMPLETELY in the hands of the league, so don't blame the team for the NBA's policy. Oh, and I'm Jeff.
