Rockets Lottery Protected pick

    Just had a question. The pick that the rockets sent to NJ in the twill trade and is now with Atlanta is lottery protected but for how many years and if ATL does not end up getting the pick in a certain amount of years then is it unprotected?

    It turns into two 2nd round picks I believe after five years. We've not given it to them two years in a row now. Or is it one? Someone correct me.
