    LAL: CP3
    HOU: Pau

Depending on what the Hornets are after
    NOH: Scola, Flynn
    or
NOH: Patterson, Hill, TWill, Flynn, Cousin, Blakely

As they stand now the Hornets need to add 7 more players to meet the minimum roster of 13 players. They are around $1.9 million under the tax.

I don't get a good feeling on this one. Unless it's Scola, Lee (I think he's bailing on us after this year) and scraps (any 2009 pick) for Pau (a good but declining player IMO) then I see it as a bad move. Don't trade any 2012 pick, Patterson, Lowry, (25 or under player w/skills).

I'm all for picking up additional talent but lets not trade the goal of titles for scratching to make playoffs.

Pau is too soft to be the #1 guy here in Houston, but at least we have a legit top 10-15 player.

If the Lakers can pull this off, it's really amazing. And Kobe Bryant is REALLY REALLY fortunate to play with superstars throughout his entire career.

What makes no sense here is that it would still be the Rockets assets that would be pulling Paul out of New Orleans. Why not just keep Paul for yourself? Unless of course Lakers are taking back some other bad contracts.

i like Gasol, but he's not worth Lowry, Patterson, and Morris. And does anyone care that he's not really a center? I just don't get it.

Nene is still wide open, with Denver, Indiana, Houston, Golden State and New Jersey in hot pursuit, league sources say.

Is there anyway we can get in on the NYK and DAL sign and trade Chandler?

Maybe see if we can get Amare out if it?

    Amare/Gasol combo?

I'm hoping our lineup after this if it goes down looks like.

    Lowry
    Martin
    Insert SF
    Patterson
    Pau

    or pipe dream

    Lowry
    Martin
    Ariza
    Pau
    Marc

maybe Houston sees Paul for 1 year is not as good as Gasol for longer than that.

It would be hard for me to stomach Gasol but if we get him for a good deal I'd support it. No Lowry, Martin, or Patterson in the trade.

That would push us further toward that Pistons model of having an top notch starting five but no top five or top ten talents.
