This is pie in the sky, but what would it cost to get Zo from Miami?

I know that Miami is looking to unload vets w/big contracts. Right now they are looking at 4 players taking up a huge chunk of their cap.

Zo loves Riley, and vice versa, Miami loves Zo, and vice versa, but the guy has a liver condition and is aging. Tho' Miami desperately wants to get younger.

Zo is exactly what the Rockets need. Intimidating presence in the middle, rebounder, defender, shot blocker, mentor to young big guys (Griffin, Ming, maybe even Cato), vet leadership, incredible work ethic, focus, and someone who will kick Steve and/or Cat's ass should they not pass/dribble off their foot/ignore Rudy's instructions.

He would be the perfect player to kick ass and take names, and he would not need to play more than 30 mins a game. He could also play PF to keep from wearing him out to early in the season.

I'm DREAMing, I know, but if it was possible w/o giving up Steve and the no. 1 pick, who would do it?

Not that I'm for this trade but Antonio McDysse would bring that mentality.

    Francis is a warrior.

6'3" and he leads the team in rebounds, assists, and 2nd in points. I define that as a warrior.

Zo isn't the guy he was when he was a staple at the all star game. He's a serviceable center, but I haven't seen him much lately.

    Why don't we get Adonal Foyle, he's a warrior :D ?

I think Kenny Thomas has shown a lot of heart the past couple yrs, and its a chame that he'll be gone by atleast next year.

A warrior is someone who does the dirty work, and produces night in night out, and does the intangibles.

Some former players come to mind: Chucky Brown (playoffs 94) and Larry Smith.

Adonal Foyle lacks the offensive skills. He did, however, have multiple block games this past year.

We already have a warrior, his name is Francis comma Steve.

The guy plays with a ton of emotion and is a real leader. He battles his headaches, double teams, and half court traps every game. Our hustle\intangible guys are T Mo, KT, and Kevin Willis. If Willis and\or Kenny leave, I hope we draft Amare Stoudimire. He is another one of those guys. With Ming and then Jefferies\Nachbar\Stoudimire, We will definatly see a postseason birth, when the real warriors show themselves.;)

I don't think Ming will be a warrior. But Butler and Dunlavey may be.

Remember that gang related movie back in the 80's.....they had the Warriors, then the gang on roller skates, the gang dressed as baseball players with bats.......good times.

    Wasn't Sean Penn in that?

Antwan Jammison is better than everyone on our team except Francis. He has been a beast since he was at North Carolina. If the Rockets could get him for the #1 and Griffin they would be lucky. For all you Griffin riders, he hasn't proven anything, I'm tried of hearing about how he is going to be an All-star or a stud. You people don't know what he will be. Antwan has proven himself look at the numbers, they dont lie. You "people" make me sick!

Is this the same "beast" that averaged 9.6 points, 6.4 rebounds and 0.3 blocks his rookie year (22 years old)?

It seems Griffin averaged 8.8, 5.7 and 1.84 in his rookie year (19 years old). Not much difference.

It's spelled Antawn Jamison...if you are going to lick the guy's nuts in the offseason for a part time job, at least learn to spell his name

So much of a beast, in fact, that ther Raptors are mourning over the Vince for Antawn trade

    err, uhh, umm...no

You have a lot of valid points

Unfortunately, the point on the top of his head doesn't count.
