Will there be room for him? I thought JVG wanted a 4 with range. How will the minutes be spread...

best move of the year! this guy needs PT!

    look at his stats:

he leads the team in FG%, rebounds (per 48), and even steals (per 48).

Charles Jones once led the Rockets in FG% for about ten games. He was 1/1 for 100%.

He deserves it. JVG needs to give him more of JHOs minutes next year. If we draft a PF, I would dump SS the next day.

I thought Barkley decided to come out of retirement for a second there. :D :D Hayes is a nice energy type of player. He deserves a shot.

Mattj is the source. He is a Radio Sports show host for 610 AM in Houston.

Good move. Chuck is one the guys that actually works for their contracts. He may not see all the PT in the world but there is always room for depth IMO.

Actually it is not a big deal. They must have signed him cheap so they can cut him anytime they want.

But I wish Chuck all the best. He deserves that opportunity.

They would have experimented that last season, but they didn't. So there is little to no chance he plays at SF.

When they first announced they signed Hayes last year, they said he signed a 1 year guaranteed deal, with a TEAM OPTION at a 2nd year.

I believe they said his first year was worth $246,000 and his TEAM OPTION 2nd year was worth $486,000.

So all they did was simply pick up his team option for this year.

Lampe also has a team option but it's very doubtful they would pick it up.
