Morey should move on and start building a team instead of collecting assets now.

Why the rush? Wait until it's over, then move on.

You gain nothing from taking your ball and going home now.

You lose nothing from sticking around and seeing it through.

This is worse than seeing Carmelo deal. That stuff wasnt this long and drawn out. Everyone didnt lose their jobs and go into multiple seasons where his favorite team just eventually gave up on the players hometeam.

If Dwight would only just give us a chance.

    Hey! I just met you.

    And this is crazy.

    But here's my number.

    So call me maybe?

Add Brian Windhorst in the "alive" category.

The Knicks actually had nice assets to offer Denver. All Brooklyn could offer was a maxed out Center that can't rebound. Yuck.

    Brian Windhorst ‏@WindhorstESPN
Hennigan confirmed he spoke with Howard today, said it was "positive" & "conversational." Reports are he told Howard talks dead.

3:13pm: Speaking to the media this afternoon, Hennigan said it's "not accurate" that the Magic have suspended trade talks, adding that the team is leaving every door open. However, the Magic GM seemed to at least acknowledge that a deal with the Nets looks very unlikely and said he spoke to Howard earlier today, though he declined to share the specifics (all four Twitter links).
