I'll take him. But who do we have to give up? It shouldn't take much, but what would it take?

I seriously can't think of anyone. Maybe a second round draft pick? Maybe his draft pick? Maybe the Orlando draft pick?

Maybe we could do it today to save some money on plane tickets? [IMG]

It sounds like the Knicks are pretty anxious to get rid of him. If we could give up Bullard or a second round pick for him, I think it would be a good move. I believe the upside on Turk when he came out was that he had a great shot and that he had shown signs of rebounding skill (of course that was in Europe, so it really doesn't mean anything). The downside was his defense. Sounds a bit like a younger Bullard - not an impact player, but I think any time a rebuilding team can get younger without shaking things up too bad, they should go for it. The Rockets drafted him, so they have to be pretty high on him. If Turk's traded, my bet is he ends up with the Rockets.

    Thinks for the post.

Don't quite see how this translates into "Rocket's Express Interest in Turkcan" which shows as feature story at www.clutchcity.net.

There is no comments from the Rockets in that article. MoonBus, is there something else going on below the surface of this article. If not, www.clutchcity.net is spreading rumors about Rocket's interest.

It says in the article that the Rockets may be interested. It's an actual quote, along with Indiana and Orlando.

If the news concerns the Rockets, then we should discuss it. It's not like some bum out on the street mentioned this.

    From the article:

"Houston, which drafted him, Indiana and Orlando have expressed interest in Turkcan, according to a league insider"

Yeah, I have no clue how I got "Rockets express interest" out of that one. I should have called to verify that "Houston" meant the "Rockets", but seeing as they referred to Houston as the team that "drafted him", I put 2 and 2 together...

apologies clutch. I didn't really offend you did I. spreading rumors is fun and a fine purpose for the board...but still, that is a rumor. no challenge to your integrity. I seem to keep stepping on your toes.

the Post heard from an insider that the rockets said....what's wrong with me asking for more info and saying it's a rumor in my book. Like, when did they express interest, in August,,,yesterday...etc.

Everything is basically a rumor until it actually happens.

I guess we shouldn't speculate or discuss possible trades until they actually happen.

It's exciting to hear the rumors. Unless it's one you don't like.

I wouldn't trade Bullard right now (I admit I don't know much). He is a veteran that has been with the team and knows what to do and is hustling and hitting shots. Never thought I would say that even though I like him but he is playing exceptionally well this year, making plays on both ends to help this struggling team. KEEP UP THE GOOD WORK, BULL!

So, who else can we trade? lol. What did we get for trading him to the Knicks or whoever we traded him to? I'm getting attached to these guys. If they trade, please let it be a real impact guy. AND KEEP OUR BACKCOURT. That's harsh, I don't really want to lose Rogers, Cato, Hamilton or Thomas either. Doesn't leave much! Unless a great deal comes along, we may have to do our best this year and hopefully get a pick while still playing decently.

I may be rambling. Sorry if I am.
