Mobley Resigns With the Rockets: Cuttino Mobley decided that he will sign with the Rockets instead of the Raptors. He said that he had to stay where his heart is instead of just going for the big bucks and signing with Toronto. He said he believed that if God wanted him to have the money he'd get it. He said him and Steve Francis can bring something special to Houston. Mobley signed a 5 year, 31 million dollar deal. The Rockets finished the Rocky Mountain Revenue on a high note. Dan Langhi played great, for a second round pick. I think he could be a good backup. Some people are comparing him to Matt Bullard, but Bullard can't take you off the dribble like Langhi can. It looks like the Rockets have a shot at becoming a playoff team. Maybe not this year, but next year they could be a great team. We have Francis at the point, Mobley at the 2 guard, Shandon at sf, Kenny Thomas at PF, and either Olajuwon, who is in his last season at the starting center position, or Kelvin Cato. I have a feeling that this year they are gonna just make the playoffs. It is very hard to make the playoffs in the Western Conference coming off of a bad season, because the West is a powerhouse. But I think they can do it, as long as they stay injury free. Let's talk about Hakeem. I think that he shouldn't start this season, because he is very old and will slow down the offense, which isn't good. Loved to start new threads to see his name. Couldn't spell and had a problem with sentences which he blamed on a broken finger. Took offense when we chided him to improve. Wanted to hang out with adults on this BBS, but wanted to hide behind his youth when he was asked to act like an adult. He failed to see the inconsistency in that type of thinking. FABR flooded the board with about 10 new threads in one saturday afternoon. Then kept doing it, not realizing this is not his little playground to see his name in lights. steviewonder...this time find other people's threads to participate in.
