They have us finishing 6th in the West. But the thing that caught my eye was that they had a defensive rating system which had Steve ranked as a defensive stopper. Has something changed or are the just full of $h!t?

i saw that too! just another instance of the national media not really caring enough to pay attention to Houston sports teams, i guess, because if steve is a defensive stopper, then i'm yao ming. :D

yeah, i picked that up today. i liked our prediction but any publication that lists steve as an elite defender has to be questioned. he was listed as 22nd on their "pvr" overrall rankings. i didn't bother to see exactly who was ahead of him but that's bullsh!t. at a minimum he's a top 15 player. i mean if they have him as an elite defender than he's top 5 right? :) other than that great ming article along with a good team ranking.

As the Raiders' owner used to say: "Just win, baby." Then all the sports writers will kiss the Rockets' collective backside.:)
