Some pictures from sina.com about T-Mac, Mo, Lue, and JJ wondering around streets in Shanghai. Looks like they were having a good times ... http://sports.sina.com.cn/z/2002-2003NBA/photo/7203/index.shtml
kind of strange all the people are carrying on doing their everyday things like the players weren't 5 feet away from them. I thought at least there would be a little crowd control. Wasn't the Concorde retire. How did they get to china so fast when they just played a game the night before?
Webber check in The Ritz-Carlton Shanghai at 6:00 AM local time ... http://image2.sina.com.cn/ty/k/p/2004-10-12/U581P6T12D1189766F44DT20041012075952.jpg
These fews ladies are obviously not basketball fans. They have just let the biggest sports figure in their country walk by without even taking a look at him.
I don't know what it is about this picture that cracks me ups so much. Is it the fact that 4 NBA players are sitting on some steps in the middle of nowhere? Is it the fact that T-mac just happens to be apart from the other guys? Is it the fact that they have looks on their faces that say, "Is this it?" Are they sitting around waiting for Yao to finish taking a piss? Or are they just completely stoned, "So what do you want to do? / I don't know, what do you want? / I don't know. / You want to just sit here? / Yeah, okay."
I don't think they're conscious. They just had the biggest figure period walk by them without batting an eye.
I think T-mac is just considerate enough to sit aside so he wouldn't block the front entrance of the shop.
They four want shopping but it's too early. No shop is open. 'cause they are interested in electronic product, so they are waiting there for a hotel car to send them to the biggest electronic market which is quite far away.
why do they video tape everything? notice how all the reporters at the airport surround ming and no reporters around everyone else.
