We are losing to the best team in the NBA and people are going nuts. You knew it would happen after the first loss, right? People will stop calling T-Mac a superstar, we will fall out of the playoffs, T-Mac can't get out of the first round, etc. etc. etc.

It happens. You knew it would. The streak has finally ended, let's move on. We're still going to be tied for first place.

Oh and T-Mac needs to stop getting doubled all the time or else we ARE going to lose in the first round. Teams have figured it out pretty fast, just blitz T-Mac and let everyone go at it. When the team is off, we are going to lose. When the team is on fire, we are going to win. We are essentially the GSW, a little better. I guess that means we can only beat the Mavs. :D

I cant take it anymore in the game thread. I cant believe it. After 22 wins the Rockets gave us, people are acting like we've lost 22 straight.

Rafer landed hard, yet despite his great 1st half, there was no Bobby Jackson until 9 minutes left in the game. At the moment, Rafer is 4/13 while Jackson is 3/4. But minutes played are 29 vs. 7.

Not a surprise! When Landry is not playing, I know the Rockets are going to get abused in the paint. The Rockets just dont have size. When Leon Powe scores 18 on you, you know something is wrong.

Against the Celtics, it's better to have Yao than T-Mac.

This is a team that in my opinion, plays better defense than anyone else in the league. Also, they have size that most other teams don't have. I don't think we need to enter panic mode no matter how we finish up this tough stretch. We are a playoff team that can certainly advance.

Well, it was a good ride while it lasted...it's one game. We come out and win the rest and it won't matter.

We know Rafer and the other role players will fall. T-Mac straight up gave up from the beginning. If we had lost and everyone sucked except TMAC, i would have understood because we are only human but to come out flat and you are a superstar, isnt that 3 games he has looked out of sync now

Great players make teams adjust to them, and tonight, TMAC adjusted to the Celtics, he showed no heart

i feel crappy but its all good, best to lose to the best team in the league. Haters are going to come out in full force and say i told you so but forget them. We are in the history books. I fully believe we can go on another run!

BTW are we still in first place after this loss?

    A few things....

    Boston is better

    They are big

Thibodeaux and Rivers have them boyz playing some crazy D!

Teams have been figuring us out since the Hawks game.

They did a decent job on Tracy and it was only a matter of time before someone would capitalize on it.

We have to figur out new ways to score.

Avoid ESPN and TNT if you don't want to be hit with told you so's.

It's easy to see it that way, but I disagree. TMac has been off for a week. I think he's worn out. But Boston's defense is just insane.

Without a doubt. The real test of what the Rockets are made of is how they perform the next 3 games. We may find out soon if we are contenders or pretenders.

I've been meaning to say this even before this game and was about to explode after the altercation with Rondo: I hope Rafer shuts his big trap, stops the in your face "swagger" and just focuses on playing basketball from now on. He needs to learn the phrase: Act like you've been there before.
