Pho and Minny... Phoenix has a murderous schedule... Minny's is somewhat hard... While I counted 9 gimmies for the Rockets... Rockets need to hold serve at home and split the road games, and we're in...

Pho will be struggling a ton if Googs doesn't work miracles during the time Marion is out...

This Marion injury may change his career forever... I recall people saying that Horry stopped driving to the bucket when he played for us because he got drilled almost as bad as Marion and it affected him since...

Will Marion be able to go up as strong to the bucket as he has? Will he be as aggresive on the boards?

Marion is Pho's MVP by far... Sure, Kidd is the heart and soul, but Marion is the only player who can run with Kidd, and he's their only rebounder and shot blocker... Pho's lack of toughness inside will be exposed...

Not to rain on anyone's parade, but Kenny Smith at North Carolina was fearless, he was better then Marbury, and had incredible hops.

He went to the hole with reckless abandon, then during his sophmore year I think he got undercut and landed on his head, he was NEVER the same after that.

Yeah DaDakota I remember that too. Kenny seemed to get soft after that, but he was still a good player, just not great.

True, it can be disheartening, or even frightful to go to the hole the same after a bad fall or undercut. I think Marion will be fine, and back to normal after he recovers. He plays one way, and I don't think he knows any other.

He may be slow to get back to normal, but I think he will. Part of what makes him successful is his athleticism and rebounding prowess. I fully expect Marion to return to his normal playing ability.
