Based on the selection of Head and Lindsay's comments, we all know it will happen. There is a log jam at the guard positions. Someone will be traded and it doesnt take an "insider" to figure this out.

    So who's outta here....

    Sura
    James
    Barry
    Wesley
    Head
    VSpan

well im pretty sure head and span are out of the question. so that brings us to james/sura/wesley. i see james leaving for sure. he is easy trade bait...and i would have to say wesley is gone too. the rockets have no purpose for him anymore. i would like to keep sura as a backup sg. but if we have to deal sura to get somebody... i def wont be heartbroken. so head and span are staying... they are young and quick. which is what we are trying to do on this team. everyone else is fair game.

James and Wesley are the odd men out.

Bring back Barry and Sura plus the rookies

wesley is a given and im guessing they dont bring barry back. great shooter but a liability on defense due to slowness. that would allow a slot for vspan

I think we're dumping most of them except for head. I think james is out there looking for a paycheck. Sura seems to not show during the playoffs. Wesley is like having mini-me at the 2 against goliath 2's of the league. Trade them and get antonio daniels to start at the point for us.

Moochie and Ward. Honestly I dont think anybody is safe. If the rockets want to pull a trade and one of those guys has to be included then I think it will be done.

My honest gut feeling.....Sura is gone.

His value is probably higher then any other guard we have. While his value is high, they will try to move him before his body finally breaks down.

And correct me if I'm wrong but arent Wesley and James free agents next year, making them cap savy attractable.

My only worry is if these guys are traded, we will need some "playerS" to start ahead of Head and VSpan to give them time to adjust to the speed of this game. We cannot just throw these young guys straight into the fire....yet we cannot start the likes of Moochie and Ward either, just for the young players development sakes.

With what we've heard re: Span, Head's pick is curious. So, is Span trade bait? Wes is best bait and MJ 2nd IMO.

    Bring back JB!

head and JB will stay as our backups. ward will still be on the bench. we will find 2 new starters in the backcourt.

Spanoulis has no trade value at this point...if he's out it only means he'll be back in Europe.

Moochie and Ward will be bought out/thrown in trades.

Personally I think that probably only one of Sura/Wesley/James will be traded...and I think it'll be Wesley. Sura and James will manage at PG for another year...with Head and Spanoulis competing for leftover minutes or injury minutes.

I have a feeling Barry will be back for one last year. He was as important as anybody to the teams chemistry, and he's cheap...and arguably the best 3 shooter on the team. I'd hate to see him gone and depend on Head and Spanoulis to provide off the bench right away.
