Okay, I'm getting mixed messages here. Are the Rockets going to be on TV tonight here in Austin or am I going to get motorcross? I need to know for the sake of my TV because I know if I turn my TV on expecting the Rockets and get motorcross then I will have to go and buy a new TV tomorrow because the one I presently own will be busted. -Turbo
I expect to get back to my apt. on Oltorf today and turn on FOXSW to either motorcross or that stupid Sports Trivia show. Apparently FOX thinks that Austin is all Spurs fans. They forget to consider the 15,000 students at UT who are from Houston. Do not fall for the ol'Rockets on TV crap that Time Warner tries to sell you. From my experience they will NEVER show Rockets games on TV regardless of what the program guide tells you. I have spoken to them many time s on the phone and they say that FXSW is in charge of programming and that since we are not the closest NBA city (San Antonio), then they cannot show Rockets games. Sweet, thanks for the notice. Anyway, I have Time Warner, and FOXSW is on Channel 54. I'm also wondering if any regular season Rockets games are going to be on cable TV here in Austin. Hockey sounds like a good possibility. When there is not a Spurs game or a good Motocross event, FOXSW likes to go with a Dallas Stars game. ------------------
According to Yahoo! TV, we do get the game in Austin. Guess we'll have to wait and see what actually happens... (now, if they'd only show some regular season games!) ------------------
