Just wanted to bring this up against the warriors. Im shocked this game hasnt been pulled since the tank job being done by the warriors to get the #1 pick for this team next year, and all there stars being injured. But obviously they thought the warriors would be just as good with D'Angelo Russell and Stein as Klay replacement lol. Russell just stat padding to get a bigger contract.
Yes am surprised still on the ABC schedule. Could be for casuals who just remember the 2nd playoff narrative last year. "Rockets blah blah without KD". Conveniently forgetting how GSW was good before KD. But please don't lose to this tanking GSW team on Christmas day.
They scheduled the game before the season started and no other games are being played in that time slot to replace it. If they could get a better matchup in there they probably would.
These are scheduled before the season; they won’t change the schedule around. They try to own Christmas Day like the NFL owns Thanksgiving and want people to make plans around the holiday for it. If they pulled the game, or changed the time, that would have a huge impact on those same fans. They’ll try to sell it to casuals as WARRIORS-ROCKETS and hope those same folks haven’t been paying attention to the season as of yet.

This team is terrible at statement games. No grit. We might as well spend another three months building up that swag rather than focusing on quality issues.

No lie, I did feel I jinxed us. But then I remembered in the grand cosmos of things, I'm insignificant. It's one loss, hope the team bounces back.
