ROCKETS game blocked on U-verse great!

    Same here. Icalled tech support and that was the bullSH*&@ they told me ARGHHHH!!!!!!

    Not blocked for me on cable. but I'm pissed off. We get the MAVS in HD on FSSWHD....but the ROckets are on the crappy regular channel.

    GET US SOME HD ROCKETS/FSN!!!!! :mad: :mad:

    Really? It said "Washington Wizards at Dallas Mavericks" but that game didn't even show, and at 9:30 the Rockets game came on. I've been watching it in HD from tip off.

    This is on Comcast.

    It says OFF AIR for me on my cable, so I never clicked on it in the guide.

    I had the same problem on Saturday night vs. Denver. I told them I was having a Rockets Viewing Party at my house and everyone was mad. We were on the phone with them for 3 full quarters. By the time they told us "Oh, the game was accidently blacked out tonight, our mistake", there were 2 minutes left in the game. Damn all cable services. They all suck. Stick with the internet.

    I watched it fine. It said off air on channel 755, but I still turned to it and it was on. I haven't had a blacked out game since that Milwaukee game. The really do need to fix it. I was trying to record it earlier on my dvr, but didn't know what channel to record.

    blacked out for me on 755. it said 'off air' on the guide, and when pressed 'OK' I got the standard "No programming" or whatever that text is with the black screen. made the call to cs and got the standard 'we have no contract with FSN to show NBA games'.

    Wow, they really need to tell the truth. Why could I get it, but you can't. BS about the contract. I remember when I had trouble watching, someone on this forum with U verse was seeing it no problem.

    I was really considering getting this U-Verse a few weeks ago, but I've seen too many threads/posts like this. Glad I held off until Rockets season started.

    Sorry, but if you jack with my Rockets, you don't get my business. As bad as Comcast is, at least I get to watch Houston Rocket games in Houston, Texas....

    Comcast FOR THE WIN. Never had problems watching Rocket games on Time Warner or Comcast. Crappy service for sure but at least Rocket games always show up. :D

    I have u-verse and when I looked for the rox game on the guide the channel that usualy broadcasts it, 755, said off air but when I clicked to view the channel the game was on...

    The game was on FSN HD .. no problems
    :D

    Sucks for all those people who switched over to U-Verse

    I'm on hold with the A-Holes at U-Verse right now...38 minutes and counting. Been transferred to (and had to recount my entire situation to) 3 different people now. Between customer service, sales, and now "Tier 2 Support".

    Here's how idiotic they are. Nena in Sales told me that I "needed the sports package", that FSNSW was NOT INCLUDED in U-200 package. She re-iterated this to me again I as stared at the monitor in front of me clearing showing that ALL packages (100,200,300,400) include FSNSW for zip code 77095. Now i'm back with Tier 2 support.

    This is total BS. I have been a customer only since Saturday the 24th and am already ready to cancel and go back to Comcast.
