I know the Rockets don't have a #1 this year, but when do they owe Atlanta a #1 for the rights to T. Morris. By the way, BIG BUST!!!!!

What? We have to give Atlanta a #1 for Terrence Morris???? Is this true? If it is, what a shady deal! Morris has done squat to deserve such high considerations. What is the front office thinking? The only stat T-Mo leads the Rockets in is splinters in his ass per game from all that pine time.

The rox just passed along a low 1st rounder that was owed from Philly or some other team.

The rox will own their 1st rounder again next year and the years after, unless they decide to trade it again.

Back in 2001 it looked like a great deal. At one point of his college career, TMo was a potential high first rounder. I think the Rockets were hoping reuniting with Stevie and actually getting a contract would help turn his game around.

The other 2001 trade doesn't look like it paid dividends either. They're still young though, I would wait another 2 years before calling them busts.

2 years? He and Griff have already been given 2 years and they have done absolutely squat with them. How much time does it take to show that you're moving in the right direction? They could at least show that, right?

I actually think T-Mo has shown some improvement, although Griffin, not so much.

There is a rule that says a team can't trade future consecutive first round picks....The Stepien Rule, I believe...

LOL Don't be so mad... We gave up this pick...

Sacramento receives Detroit's first round pick via Atlanta (2003 or 2004, Detroit's option) (Dickau 062602) (Turkcan) via Houston (Terence Morris trade 062701)

The rockets traded a first round pick that wil consistantly be in the tail end of the draft (right now the 25th pick) that hasn't even been given yet. Plus detroit doesn't even have to give up the pick until next year if they choose to. At least wait to see who's available when that pick comes up to denigrate the trade.
