    They didn't, genius.

The Hawks sent out an e-mail blast blatantly referencing the possibility of Dwight Howard and Chris Paul becoming Atlanta Hawks. The Rockets did a series of stories covering 70-plus potential free agents and the market as a whole, not once even mentioning a connection to the Rockets. Oh, and it's a series they've done every year for several years.

    Apples and oranges.

NBA is run like a dictator ship... and sperm is quite old... why don't God expedite the process already? Maybe take silver with him as well.

Is there a more specific reason for the fine, or is "tampering" all we're going to see?

    That seems absurd.

That's ridiculous if the Friedman pieces are the reason. I mean, damn that guy for actually trying to write informative pieces about basketball instead of just the generic fluff that most team sites are filled with, right?

[rQUOTEr]The Kings' infraction is also related to Paul, as new coach Michael Malone said in his introductory press conference that the Clippers point guard would "look pretty good in a Sacramento Kings uniform." Malone coached Paul while with the New Orleans Hornets (now the Pelicans).[/rQUOTEr]
