Rockets Fans need to wear RED!

To the individual who can talk to the brass of the Chronicle, please put on the top of the Sports Page "Wear Red! Go Rockets!". It saddens me that the toyota center is not a red sea of rowdies.

Yeah, saddens me that its a sell out, and they are not LOUD if we aren't on a 8-0 run and when we're not dunking on people or shooting 3's. Suppose to be more FANS there then "shirt and tie" business guys.

May be Les might want to take a cue from some of the other owners and pass out red shirts to every lower-bowl fan asking them to wear it?

May be he's doing it, I am not sure...

The crowd was great, I agree.

I think what Azadre was referring to though is having a 'sea of red' throughout the arena, sort of like what the Raptors had earlier this morning (I think it was the Raptors) or Miami with their "White Hot" thing last season.

It can get done, they just might need to coordinate things a bit better. May be some rockets insider can fill us in on the details or the steps taken by the organization to do that.

On ESPN, the crowd looked great. One of my roommates was even amazed at the amount of red and clappers in the stand as Carlos Boozer was shooting his free-throws. This crowd was much better than what I have seen in the last 3 years or so. Good job to anyone that was at the game. Keep it up!

Agreed. If we don't GIVE the shirts away, we're not going to get the effect want. Not everybody's going to get the memo and not everybody's going to go along with it, especially the suits. If we want a "sea of red", we need to GIVE the shirts away.

What the ROckets Organization should do is just buy 20, 000 thousand red rowdy shirts and towels and hand them out instead of being cheap.... Also they should force the fans to wear Red before entering Toyota Center.... I feel The Rockets organization should keep telecasting on the news and remind Rockets fans to wear RED on all houston local tv news which is channel 2, 13, 11, 26 through out the whole entire month of playoffs... Post on the Houston Chronicle SPORTS SECTION ( front page) that the ROckets fans to wear red in the FRONT PAGE through out this week... Not only that ROckets organization should call even the ticket holders and remind them to wear red....

This way everyone will be wearing red.... and the Toyota Center will be rocking!!!

I saw the same thing...it was all red in Air Canada Center, holy sh**!

But the funny thing was, it was Nets that were wearing red today that got me really confused at the first couple minutes I watched during the 4th quarter. I thought the red team had to be Raptors :D

Did you people see the Chicago crowd? The Detroit crowd? Toronto was the only team today that had as passionate a crowd as we did tonight. The arena was 80% red, which is astounding, considering there wasn't a give away. Even the corporate seats were almost all red.

I second the call of people whining about the Toyota Crowd when they don't even attend a game. That crowd tonight was outstanding.

Yeah the nets played dirty with their red uniforms, cause their usual road uniforms are blue. They wanted to be the home team.

Utah FT 9/17. I thought that was the perfect home court advantage. Crowd did their job.

I am not saying the crowd wasnt outstanding... they were FREAKING RIDICULOUS! but it would of been more crazier if our whole arena is all RED and we have the same kind of ROWDINESS from our fans today....
