Don't trade any major stars (Tmac/Ron/Yao). Trading their superstars for a better team is usually a desparate move and usually made their team worse than better.

let's review recently this kind of moves. Denver vs philly, detroit vs denver, dallas vs new Jersey and suns vs heat. All the better team become much worse. These kinds of desparate moves won't work ever. For your information, the bad team sucks for a reason.

Let's see the successful story in NBA. They have their core, they keep their core and add pieaces here and there. In recent years Rockets definitely in the right road, they added good pieces everyRockets' main problem is that Tmac regressed very fast recently. But David Robinson too.

Rockets are very deep and talented now. I said before and I said now, they should win 65-70 games without injury. they are that talented. But now they played like 35-40 win team. they regressed from the beginning of the season. They lose confidence and broken. They need to change the coach or change the line.

Bring back coach JVG or at least bring back his ghost. Let Hayes and Ron start and Tmac/Scola off bench. Let the starters play half-court low-post stagnant offense with brutal team defense, kill other team offense rythm and then bring in brooks/scola/T-mac/barry/wafer run and gun happily.

Tmac don't need to be a one-on-one superstar now. He just need to be a good team player in order to win WC for Rockets. He and Ron are not selfish players as starberry. They just not good at team offense because they are too physically talented. They can beat others one-on-one easily in high school or college because their super gifts. Not anymore in NBA. Here everyone are closed to their talent level. They can't win by themselves.

Luis Scola is a super excellent team player and a fighter and a winner. But his defense play style needs team-defense efforts from his teammates. Now when he help others, nobody help him, thus his player is wide-open and the team defense totally collapses.

Houston still has hope. They need to be confidence, They need work hard. Detroits won their WC when they only won 54 regular games. They lost next year when they won 64 regulars. Old Rockets made the most amazoning WC run in NBA history and maybe in whole sport history.

Just bring the best defense players to start the game with best defense now or never.

Denial is a sad drug. TMac has to go if he is still here past the 19th it will be a one and done in the playoffs again.

The definition of ignorance is to do the same thing over and over and expect different results.

    This team needs a shakeup...

If you do not trade, then you have to fire the coach, you have to do something for this stupid team, right?

Tracy and Ron aren't superstars, and even you consider Yao to be one, he's not going anywhere.

That's actually the definition of insanity, not ignorance, as the saying goes.

If you dont think this team needs a trade, then you havent been watching the games the rest of us have. This is just a horrible start to 2009.

    We have no superstars.

    We have no pride.

    We have no toughness

    We don't have anything.

Couldn't beat our meat with our feet.

It is hard to remain optimistic at this point.

Adelman needs to go to the the line up that was winning games when t-mac was out. T-mac can still put up decent numbers, but its his inconsistency that I have a problem with. Start Wafer, give him a chance, the team can't do any worse with him in the line up.

Funny you mentioned Detroit, they made so many big moves before they finally had a champion team.

    this is the answer.

Trade ALL of the "stars". We have a great mix of role players that would fit perfectly with one or two REAL superstars.

    Agreed.

And one of the big problems is Adelman waits to long to make substitutions. Clearly our starters were struggling last night and he waits until the 5 minute mark down 20 to make make substitutions, and then his first substitution was taking out Scola who played the best out of the whole 5.

The team just don't have any defense. They think they can cruise a win then give up.
