Coaching, players? They haven't been good on defense in weeks, let alone 'elite'.

yet again, austin rivers and lou williams torched this team. the opposing teams' guards always go off against the Houston Rockets. we gotta call out the elephant in the room.

Rockets cannot defend the 3. Its obvious now.

    In December key Opponent 3-pt:

    Portland 18/41 (44%)

    New Orleans 18/33 (54%)

    Lakers 15/35 (43%)

    Clippers 18/42 (43%)

All of these games were either close or losses.

We're missing an all NBA-defensive PG, a league leading C in net rating, and a two-way bench wing.

If we're going to play like this I don't think I can watch until one of our 3 injured guys is back.

This is a time-machine straight back to 2015-16.

They were missing Blake Griffin, Wesley Johnson, Danilo Gallinari and Pat Beverley. Our defense should still be decent.

Sure CP3 and Clint were out, but the lack of focus is disturbing. Instead of tightening things up and playing like their margin for error was slimmer, Rockets pranced out there thinking they just needed to show up.

They deserved both losses and hopefully will learn from them. Harden has to grow up. Yes, the other guy flopped but you can't pout. Man up, suck it up and deal with it.

We will find out what this team is made of by how they react to opposition.

What you just said means their offense should be bad, not that our defense should be good...?

Lo and behold, we got torched by a bad offense and gave Austin Rivers a highlight reel night.|

There's a combination of injuries and just plain terrible play going on here. But the impact of losing Paul and Capela on defense with no backups at either position can't be overstated.
