If the league does away with isolation offenses by allowing zone defense, how will this affect the Rockets? I know that isolation ball can be tedious at times, but when it works there is nothing better. Lets face it, the Rockets live and die of isolations, and I can't see them changing their game plans any time soon. If the league allows the zone, will the Rockets be doomed? This is worrying me.

First off, how would they make it illegal? And if they do, I think the Rockets would be better off. That would force them to create a real offense. But, all kidding aside, the league will never do away with iso offenses because how else would they promote their players?

It wouldn't worry me too much if the league allowed zone defenses, but I don't see it happening anytime soon. If they were to allow it I don't think teams would use it too often anyway. IMO, most teams would be able to tear up the zone D in the NBA. All it takes is one man to penetrate through the middle, then have two wings cut to the basket or two posts step out and you will get a layup, foul, or 15ftr. The zone D is for college and high school, not the NBA. Defenses will collapse in the zone with the quickness and talent of the players.
