Just an FYI, the Rockets.com website has gone through a slight redesign. They now have a rotating header image with their "Be Part of Something BIG" campaign. Here are the rotating header images for those that are interested...including the infamous Kelvin Cato image. Chris
Don't read too deeply into which players have banners and which don't -- player personnel and web design are entirely unrelated. Eventually, all the players will probably have a banner. This is just the first batch. This is also just the first phase of our redesign of rockets.com. The headers and backgrounds were first, and the body will be next. We wanted page to be more consistent with our overall messaging and team colors (light blue was the dominant color on the previous design), and we want the page design to be oriented more towards new news and features, since fan feedback has told us that's where the biggest value is. The team has been doing a lot of work on it recently, so thanks for noticing. While we don't have those nifty smily face things like cc.net, we try. Tim, I think the improvement is very good! I like the new header images and the facelift which is why I posted this thread to begin with. I am glad you guys are making some changes because I thought the page was beginning to look a bit stale. Keep up the great work. Chris
CATO? What the heck is with that? Who wants to go to Rockets.com and see Cato on the banner? If fans from other teams go to Rockets.com and the Cato one randomly comes up they will laugh at us.
