It was a nice article to basically sum everything up for information purposes. But for the most part it tells us everything we already know. There is no opinion or statement to agree or disagree with.
"The key, as it always is with this club, is staying healthy – both from a physical standpoint and, with Artest now in tow, a mental one, too. "
im getting extremely pissed at the whole landry situation, the healthy landry was giving us 17ppg his rookie season
agreed, if some one of james posey's level could be included in a "BIG _" then we would have a big 6 tmac yao artest scola battier alston LOL
Come on its new orleans... they need something other than Saints to talk about. It's been so long since that city has had a NBA franchise that could compete for the title.
I myself don't understand what the big deal about Posey is. He is a good roleplayer in the right team nothing more. Its not like he is a young guy with undiscovered potential. We know by now what he can and cannot do.
One of the better defenders in the league with the ability to knock down open threes. It's actually kind of rare in this league.
You mean Ron Artest with worse defense, half the steals, and no playmaking ability whatsoever? Oh and Ron hit the exact same percentage on threes as Posey last year, 38.0%. Posey - 12.08 PER Artest - 18.89 PER New Orleans got completely and utterly pwned in the face this offseason. They could have traded the EXACT SAME STUFF to Sacramento to acquire Artest, except Morey was too busy wrecking them by unloading Mike James' non-expiring contract on them, and using the 28th pick to select the guy Sacramento wanted all along (Greene). New Orleans had PICK NUMBER 27 and sold it for cash!!! And they had to give Posey a bad contract in order to get him too. Eat your hearts out New Orleans fans.
