"It’s an adjective that applies to the Minnesota native both on court and off; after all, how else to label a 21-year-old baller who speaks with the confidence and maturity of a man twice his age, teaches himself how to play piano. grows a beard in tribute to John Lennon, writes books and screenplays, is passionate about photography and lists Friedrich Nietzsche among his favorite philosophers?"

So basically he's Arian Foster. I'm ok with this.

Very cool break down, and makes me feel he could be the steal of the draft, especially if we had no PG's and were forced start him as one (he can't be a SF starter with Parsons on the team). I knew he was big and was a good passer, but didn't know how good his bball IQ really was.

I assume the reason he went so low in the draft was because of his anxiety issues. Is that right?

Anybody who likes Nietzsche and the Beatles is okay with me.

Seriously though, because of his skill set, his Ricky Williams/ Arian Foster like personality and the fact he is on my favorite team -- it is quite likely that this guy could become my favorite player in the league. And I think a front court of him and Parsons could be a destructive force in the league for years to come.

Excuse me for my ignorance. I'm from Australia and get little college ball broadcasted except on Pay TV.

Everyone is calling him a PF, but I really don't see that. With his speed and IQ, how is he not a SF/Point-Forward, a la Lebron? I get that he can easily play PF, but why is that being called his primary position? Did he play PF in college? That shouldn't matter because NBA is bigger. Duncan was a C in college, but a PF in NBA for example.

Anyway, if this offseason goes to hell and we get no PG's, why not just start White at PG and develop him? It may turn him into a superstar within 3 seasons, plus the pro-tankers would be happy.

Jeremy Lamb and Terrence Jones are all jealous, they are like "I would totally trade in my national championship for a mental disorder. Man, what does it take to get some attention around here?"
