All, I figure you would have found this on your own, but just for old times sake I thought I'd go ahead and share it with the group the minute it went live. http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/NBA_Draft_Preview-275915-34.html Enjoy the draft, everyone. And thanks for reading! JCF
Thanks, and good luck with the new position. We will be tuned in and tuned up for your turn ons that you turn out.
I'm sure someone would have discovered it,but you should know that most fans don't bother to look up stuff on the official Houston Rockets site. This is the true site. I look forward to reading your articles there. Most of us realize that getting an immediate impact player from the draft ala Landry is going to be tough, and most of us are realistic to realize that the chances of adding a 3rd "star" in the future without weakening the team in other areas is going to be very difficult, but if the Rockets want to live in their delusional world that they can wait to luck out on an impact player in the future, then there is no cure for them. We know the best thing that can probably happen is to wait for a rookie to make an impact over a four year period.Unless somebody is stupid enough to want our expiring "junk" for another "star",we should expect only incremental success. Bottom line is that they are stuck in a very tough Western Conference which might even get better. Gutting out the team and restarting is not a guarantee of success either.
I think the reason most of us don't touch rockets.com is because of the lack of informative material on there more so than any inherent favoritism for this site over any other. Hopefully you can change that. Good luck man, if you write well we will come. You already seem to know this, but please please don't be a Blinebury; fulfill your journalistic duty rather than bloviate with less information than the average poster on this board. We'll be around.
