They forgot to add that the slam dunk went flying through the net and smacked Duncan in the face, as he was standing there helpless to stop it. haha Mandry gave Timmy a facial!
Liked the article. Landry is in transition from a back to the basket post up player to a face the basket and attack type player. It'll be great to see a Landry moving farther out with an attacking dribble first move and a 3 pt jump shot. Maybe he'll turn into a Dirk type player hmm?
for those who missed the landry vid posted here by koopa, and originally by richter, the slam over Duncan is at thte 55 second mark...but watching the whole thing is worth it: <embed src="http://www.youtube.com/v/Vfo8YPgEltw&rel=1&border=0" type="application/x-shockwave-flash" wmode="transparent"width="425" height="355">
So Morey drafted Landry for his back-to-basket, posting up skills. or just based on his number We got lucky that Landry can change his game, vertical dramatically.
I remember that play. It's beautiful. I want to see some of the back to the basket post moves Landry is supposed to have had at Purdue. That would be like icing on the cake!
I forgot the link . Ric Bucher reported at the sideline of the Nuggets game that at the shot around of Nuggets, the players were talking about Carl Landry. K-Mart said about Landry, "This dude is no joke."
Man I love seeing this guy play!!! He's greattttttt!!!! I wonder how he got his 4 inches vertical leap, he needs to tell us how he got it.
Gil Thomas - he says he can teach anyone how to dunk the ball above the rim. http://video.google.com/videoplay?d...421&start=0&num=10&so=0&type=search&plindex=0
He had to be bulkier in college because he was defending guys like Oden in the Big Ten. Much like Chuck had to do, Landry had to be strong enough to guard the biggest guy on the opposing team.
