That's pretty cool. Watching it as we speak. I was surprised that rockets.com even had a news post. Even nba.com has a pretty informative blog going on.

From the interview, he doesn't seem like the sharpest tool in the shed, but he actually seems really modest and humble, which I like a lot. I hope he will have a lot of success with the Rockets :).

It's almost like your very fist job interview, your not really thinking about the questions or what to say, ur just trying to get through it and hope the interviewer can bail you out when u get stuck.

Yeah, Jason Kidd and Vin Carter, how much did you want stro on your team. Things like a text message from your super star does wonder. Props to Tmac. Also people been hard on CD prior to Stro's signing saying he is not doing anything. There you go, CD was busy recruting meeting Stro's family, who says he was doing nothing.

Props to Stro choosing us for wanting to win. More props to Tmac and CD for getting Stro. The chemistry is everywhere in this organization.

seems like a good guy.. humble, modest go along way with me.

I really hope our big 3 (Yao/Tmac/Stro) can grow into a dynasty together.

and you're no john amechi. Swift is very young and naturally he is nervous in front of the cameras and mic so i understand why he would stumble and not be his real self.

'Swift, a lifelong Rockets fan and graduate of Louisiana State University, was also won over by Rockets guard Tracy McGrady’s personal recruitment of him."

Is this true? He only played one year, right?

Maybe he seemed a bit nervous, but you guys have to cut him a bit of slack.

First of all, he's only 25 yrs old. Being nervous is also a good thing. I would much rather see that than someone telling us that they could add so much to the team etc, etc . . . As I saw above in this thread, humble is the right word, and it is the way I was hoping that he would be. He understands that he needs to develop - hence he came here. I believe that the last time that he saw the limelight was prior to his draft year (02 if I'm not mistaken). This is definitely a big move for his career to come here - and thankfully he sees this. I believe that this is what he needed to break through to another level, meaning:

some respect
attention
coach to kick his azz
big"ger" market

Watching this interview gave me some "chills", I almost got the perspective that he was a newly drafted player waiting for his BIG debut. Let's hope that is the case, I certainly do not see why we should think otherwise . . .
