About 2 weeks ago, I was browsing the Rockets site & came across their fan section showing people in action with some gear on. It got me thinking about the playoff bet I made last year with a friend at work. So, I sent in a couple of the pics. They liked it, so I sent them the rest. Evidentally, it was impressive to them, so they decided to go full out on an article. Here is the story. It was on the homepage, very first page, dead center & large. Then it got moved down, and finally, last night dropped off.
I wouldn't say famous until McGrady/Yao recognize me! But it's interesting how this got around. I obviously told close family, but several of my friends found out without me telling them. A guy I normally play poker with sent an email out on the email list, and a friend of my fiancée saw it & contacted her after a year of no contact. When it got posted, the next day, I went to my friend Jason (mentioned in the article - aka the Mav's fan) & first thing he did was try to get that stuff posted on the Mav's site!! LOL! He couldn't because they don't have a fan section to send pix in!! He was just steaming & it made it that more funny . . .
I should post the other pictures: http://www.buttholesurferfan.com/fans/laygo/scalp.html These are pix of my different hair "cuts" over the years . . .
So, YOU'RE RF on there? I still claim it wasn't a dumb bet. I bet it actually BEFORE game 4, not after. So, we were leading 2-1 at that time & had the games left at home.
I know, I know... it's called a "dumb bet" by a lot of those on that board since I got booted off for 3 months as part of my bet. But then they're mostly Mavs fans, so...
Hey man, I'm another Dallas Rockets fan, nice to see you are diehard to the end, only way to be a fan.
Can anyone show me how to edit a previous post? There's no toolbar on here that allows me to do that.
