Great interview! Rafer always comes across as a friendly, down-to-earth guy.

It's good that he apologized, but how about try not to get in trouble again?

He is a fine basketball player and probably isn't a bad guy, but putting himself in the kind of dumb situations (DWI, parking lot attendant fight) in consecutive years is just bad judgment.

very good questions. i'm glad rafer acknowledges that the team doesn't need him to score anymore, which means less pull-up jumpers and quick three point attempts (hopefully).

Rafer should be more than adequate for us, and there's no doubt in my mind that he can be a point guard on a championship team featuring Yao, T-Mac and Ron Ron.

Very excited about this year's team.

I would love to see Rafer hit double digits or even lead the league in assits. That would truly get him the respect he wants. He thinks he is already getting that respect. I don't.

him being a big moviegoer is true, some old co-workers of mine who use to work at the amc first colony movie theater , say that he's pretty much a regular there.

Jason, sorry to say, you aren't going to last long at rockets.com.

Soon, it'll be time for a promotion to bigger and better things. You do great interviews, especially the videos. You are a natural.

Could someone posts links to all these one-on-one interviews? They're awesome, but I can't locate all of them on Rockets.com.

    Thanks.

    Sure thing.

    Brent Barry: http://www.nba.com/rockets/news/Catching_up_with_Brent_Barry-281492-34.html

Just for future reference, if you're having a hard time finding something that's a week or two old, just click on the "More Headlines" tab on the bottom third of the page. Not the easiest one to find, I know.

Oh, and to answer your question, Shay: Yes, I'm hoping to track down as many of the guys as I can before training camp begins. That's the plan, anyway.

What time does he usually go there? I'd imagine before 5 to avoid the cool kids that yell during the movie...

Skip is more vital than ever to the teams success this year.

He is our ONLY pure PG.

Good thing is, he shouldn't be relied upon to score in bunches now that we have Artest - but he's still going to be vitally important in setting the table and he MUST have a great year knocking down open 3's.

He should get more clean looks now rather than his contested rubbish he sometimes throws up. So no excuses really.

    Play it smart Rafer.

    Fun read Fritz,

My only critique is you threw a bit of a softball on the DWI question though I'm glad you at least brought it up.

Rafer is a very safe PG with the ball. he keeps the turnovers to a minimum and knows where he's teammates like the ball. he's very underrated in this place. he's value to our team cant be underestimated.
