Luis is like an Argentine version of a small town farm boy. I love that mindset. Luis is quickly becoming one of my favorite Rockets of all time, actually.
This is a funny part. LOL LS: I just go to the store and look at the cover and if it looks good, I'll read the back. And if the back looks good, I'll just buy it (laughs).
whats with community service? other then that, thanks Jason, keep our entertainment up while we are waiting!!
Luis seems like Battier in that they both subscribe to the mindset of 'don't get too high and don't get too low'. Battier said it numerous times over the course of the season last year and it looks like Scola feels the same way. I like how level-headed he seems, like he can handle whatever comes his way. Hope he does well this year! Also, thanks JCF for another great piece of reading.
with scola's consistency we are truly gonna be a deadly team .... ya know what ya get from mac,yao,ron.. i'm not even mentioning battier, rafer, hayes, landry.geez START THE SEASON ALREADY
JCF, you are an awesome interviewer. I also think you really are a Rockets fan, aren't you? Seriously, I think you do a great job. I just love our team. Wish we had kept Novak.
really, he does. I try to refrain from saying that everytime one of his articles gets posted lest I come off like a suck-up...but I get more enjoyment reading his articles than I ever have at rockets.com I wish Novak had shown just a little bit more court awareness when he got time, he just seemed so perpetually clueless. Don't get me wrong, I like the kid...wish he had worked out, but the situation is what it is. I also enjoy Scola ALOT, I love his attitude and work ethic, he fits right along with guys like Battier and Chuck.....guys that never seem to quit motoring. He is a fine complementary piece of the puzzle that every championship team needs.
