How’d you feel about it, given our history? 81 and 86, we are 0-2 and it’s a bonus no Warriors Cavs. They’re a top defensive team, we’re a top offensive team. Two all star PGs, veterans vs. youngsters, great big man play.
Would be a great matchup. Sadly, even in their current state the Cavs will fly through the weak East.
I don’t know man. I can’t see the Cavs coming through in the playoffs this year. They’ve proven me wrong before, but it really does look like everyone is just tired of being there. It’s impossile to turn things around when their heart isn’t in it
I get where you are coming from with this. Sounds good but lets just concentrate on getting out of the west first...
I do not care who the Rockets play if the Rockets ended up in the finals this year. But let’s be real: the Warriors are an unrivaled machine for a least one more season.
Right now I care about winning round 1, and so forth. In fact, even before that I'm most concerned with just keeping the team healthy. This team can beat anyone at full strength. Let the East bring its all-star team to the finals. What I don't want is yet another Rockets "what if" post-season, with a major injury. (By the way, I still feel for Hayward and the Celtics. And Cousins and the Pelicans. The NBA is in desperate need of some more playoff intrigue and upset threats.)
They are beatable. They have weaknesses and with health on our side, and realistically now home court advantage on our side, we have a real chance to take them down.
That's a 4-1 win for us, especially with home court. I really don't think they're that great tbh, we were up by 26 on them in the second half until we stopped playing. Next year with Hayward they will be tougher. I'm all for it.
Better than the raps who honestly I think would own us, but not too fond of the matchup. They’re athletic and play disciplined ball
