Just a rumor, they discussed this sunday or saturday on here and I think people were saying they never found a mention of it in the chronicle and that the salaries didn't match.
Do you think if the Houston Chronicle reported this that: A) It would be found exclusively on some third-rate message board. B) There would be no link to said Chronicle article. C) You would be the first to report this on ClutchFans at almost 2pm in the afternoon. D) All of the above. This message board is what other message boards cite... not the other way around. We all know the Rockets have talked with Stoudamire, so a trade with Portland certainly "could" happen, but someone is just making up a story based loosely on current events and playing you for a fool at a place where no mods exist or they don't care if it's true or not because it's generating traffic for them. That's not the case here. If you post a crap rumor here, it only serves to fan the flames of the rumor.
