The Rockets have made more transitions then any other team this off-season to help them play with the new rules. Of course there were always teams like the Bucks that didnt really need to make big changes with the way the have great shooters and all but if these new rules do indeed change the game, the Rockets will be winners this season. Dont get me wrong i'm not predicting a championship or anything but I think that Rudy and CD have adapted their team much better than any other team to the new rules. Also, we were one of the teams that everyone thought would be one of the worst against the zone D but with the aquisition of Glenn Rice and Dream's leaving, we have transformed ourselves into a team that will run whenever it gets the chance, but also has the ability to make a zone collapse around a penitrater to kick the ball out to a shooter. Rudy and CD have done a great job this off-season despite the Dream's leaving. For some reason, everyone keeps saying we NEED a great center when we have pf's that will run opposing centers to death. The only opposing center in the West that cant be guarded by any of our big men is Shaq but no matter who we pick up, they would not be able to guard him. Rudy and CD know this and have commited to creating a run and gun team which is definitly on the rise.
